The Broadmoor is a historic luxury resort in Colorado Springs, established in 1918. Set on expansive grounds at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain, it combines classic elegance with modern amenities across its main hotel, cottages, and suites. The property features multiple dining options, a world-class spa, two championship golf courses, tennis courts, outdoor adventure activities, and extensive meeting and event spaces.

Creative Goals

The Broadmoor is more than a luxury hotel; it’s a destination in its own right, with a rich heritage and an expansive offering spanning dining, golf, wellness, events, and more. Our goal was to create a digital experience that captured the scale and character of the property while making its many offerings feel cohesive, accessible, and distinctly Broadmoor.

The challenge was to balance aspirational storytelling with intuitive navigation, ensuring the website celebrated the property’s legacy while guiding each audience towards the experiences most relevant to them. By bringing these diverse offerings together within a unified visual language and considered site architecture, we set out to create an experience that feels as exceptional and multifaceted as the destination itself.

Key Objectives

Celebrate the Property’s Heritage
With more than a century of history, The Broadmoor has a distinctive story to tell. A key objective was to bring this heritage, sense of place, and identity to the forefront, creating an engaging introduction to the property that establishes its character and sets the tone for the wider experience.

Create Clear Audience Pathways
With such a diverse range of offerings, the site needed to serve multiple audiences without overwhelming them. We developed intuitive pathways for leisure travellers, event planners, golfers, and diners, helping each audience discover the content and experiences most relevant to their needs.

Elevate the Full Breadth of the Offering
Beyond accommodation, The Broadmoor encompasses a wealth of experiences and revenue streams. Our aim was to give each offering - from dining and golf to spa experiences, meetings, and weddings - greater visibility through dedicated entry points and considered content hierarchy.

Balance Storytelling with Conversion
The experience needed to inspire visitors while supporting their journey towards booking or enquiry. We focused on balancing immersive brand storytelling with clear transactional pathways, ensuring the site could communicate the spirit of The Broadmoor without compromising usability or commercial objectives.

Wildnerness Retreats

Beyond the main resort, The Broadmoor offers three distinctive all-inclusive wilderness retreats: Cloud Camp, The Ranch at Emerald Valley, and Fly Fishing Camp. Our goal was to bring these unique destinations to life through dedicated property pages, immersive imagery, and storytelling that captures the character of each experience, from mountaintop seclusion to authentic Western adventure.

Clear pathways to accommodations, activities, and all-inclusive packages help guests compare the retreats and discover the escape best suited to them. By connecting these experiences to The Broadmoor’s wider brand while allowing each its own distinct identity, we created a seamless journey from initial inspiration to booking.

Meetings & Events

With an extensive portfolio of event spaces, The Broadmoor needed to cater to everything from large-scale conferences and corporate gatherings to intimate celebrations and destination weddings.

We focused on creating dedicated pathways for each audience, supported by individual venue pages that bring each space to life through imagery, key details, and capacity information. Interactive floor plans help planners understand layouts and explore the possibilities, while dedicated wedding content showcases the settings and services available for every stage of the celebration.

Together, these features make it easier to move from initial inspiration to practical planning, with clear routes to enquiries and requests for proposals.
